An NI doctor who was operating a private ADHD and autism clinic which closed abruptly earlier this year, in some cases leaving patients without access to assessments they had paid for, has had his medical licence suspended. Dr Anish Anish was the lead consultant behind a private clinic trading as ADHD/ ASD Doctor which operated across a number of locations in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Local councillors have also hit out at recent events and called for attacks on emergency services to end. Firefighters and PSNI officers responding to a fire on Saturday night came under attack from a group of youths. A crew from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) and PSNI officers were dispatched yesterday following reports of a large fire at Colin Glen Forest Park. On arrival, they were pelted with stones by a group of youths and were forced to retreat for their safety.

Firefighters responding to a fire in west Belfast came under attack from a group of youths. A crew from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) was dispatched yesterday following reports of a large fire at Colin Glen Forest Park. On arrival, the firefighters were pelted with stones by a group of youths and were forced to retreat for their safety. The PSNI attended the scene shortly after and dispersed a crowd of young people.

Professor John Bew, who served as Sunak’s foreign policy adviser, was recognised for his political and public services. Bew, who is the son of crossbench peer Lord Paul Bew, was appointed by Boris Johnson to the role in 2019. He continued to serve in the same role for Johnson’s successor Liz Truss and later for Sunak. In 2013 he became the youngest ever person to hold the ‘Kissinger Chair in Foreign Policy’ research post at the US Library of Congress.

The police said it had assisted the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service in assessing fires in the Mournes. Sharing an image of widespread damage, the post added: “Bear in mind this isn’t even all of the devastation the fires have caused.”The Northern Ireland Fire Service (NIFRS) has confirmed that there are no ongoing wildfires across NI. It comes after an extremely busy week for the Fire Service which has tackled hundreds of fires across the country.
