An Australian-American cybersecurity startup has raised US$3 million (A$4.75m) in Seed funding to develop its artificial intelligence-driven defensive systems. The round for Harmony Intelligence was led by Airtree Ventures, alongside 30 strategic investors, including First Row Partners, Maxwell Capital, and execs from Canva, Adept AI, and Plaid as well as The Lean Startup author Eric Ries.

A Queensland renewable energy tech company has taken on its first external investment, banking $15 million in a round led by Ellerston Capital’s Industrial Growth Fund and Fifth Estate Asset Management. The Greens party, which received one in every eight primary votes (12.25%) at the last federal election, want a slice of the fortunes of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, proposing a “big tech tax” as Australia gears up to head to the polls in the coming months. Greens communications spokesperson senator Sarah Hanson-Young said that under the plan revenue in excess of $20 million earned from digital services in Australia will be taxed at a rate of 3%.

If you read the script, the game starts to fall apart pretty quickly. The effort put into the visuals does enough to maintain the illusion of a new game. But anyone playing a Pokémon game for the plot is bound to be disappointed regardless. It’s all about the gameplay with these titles, and in this regard Pokémon Black Moon 2 delivers in spades.
