A young man who performed a burnout tribute on the same road where his mate was killed in a car crash has been fined and disqualified from driving. Dylan Sharpe, 22, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and having no authority to drive, having been charged in November over the crash-site hooning stunt in Oakford, in Perth’s southeast. Two men have been rescued from a burning vessel that caught fire about a kilometre from one of Perth’s most popular beaches. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Marine Rescue and Water Police were alerted to the situation off Cottesloe Beach just before 8.30am on Monday.
