Between May 2024 and April 2025 there were 6,927 logged reports of illegally dumped rubbish across Norwich. Councillor Alex Catt, leader of the Green Party at Norwich City Council, claims that incidents have risen every year going back to 2021. He said: "I have watched fly-tipping go up and up and up every single year under this Labour-run council with seemingly nothing being done about it. "Yet again we see another record-high for fly-tipping in the city.
