OTD, 1944. 300 partisans from the 7th Gap brigade in Bologna fought a 20-hour battle against the combined forces of the Werhmacht and the fascist RSI at Porta Lame. And won. It was the largest urban battle in western Europe between partisans and Nazi occupiers. #Resistenza https://t.co/XDvljNMnUx
