    Last night's Eisner Awards, which were initially announced in May, were a mixture of excitement, surprises, and a series of triumphs for some creators. The hosts were Phil LaMarr and Thomas Lennon, and attendees were treated to the very best of comics. Daniel Warren Johnson emerged as the top winner in Transformers, having won both awards for best writer and best ongoing series. Meanwhile, Peach Momoko had just won the Eisner for best cover art.
