Oct 31, 2024 IDW will take Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, the Eisner Award–nominated debut graphic novel from writer Patrick Horvath and illustrated by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, back to print. The surprise hit has sold through its first printing of 20,000 copies, per the publisher. The announced second printing is 15,000 copies.

The Eisner Awards for 2024 took place last night, and they offered thrills, surprises, and multiple wins for some creators. Hosted by Phil LaMarr (who has hosted for years) and Thomas Lennon, fans were privy to the best in comics. The awards were originally announced in May. Possibly the biggest winner was Daniel Warren Johnson, with two wins for best writer and best ongoing series in Transformers. Long overdue was the Eisner for best cover art by Peach Momoko.

Comic-Con International has announced the 2024 nominations for the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. Nominees were chosen for 32 categories, with over 60 publishers represented by 150 titles in print and online. The Eisner Awards will be presented at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront Hotel during Comic-Con on July 26, 2024.
Image leads nominations with 17 (plus 8 shared), followed by DC with 13 (plus 8 shared).
