Nov. 29—Decatur police are investigating a shooting that left a person with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said Friday that officers responded at about 10:58 p.m. Thursday to a report of a shooting at Nash BBQ, located at 104 12th Ave. N.W.During their investigation, officers determined a male had suffered a gunshot wound to his leg, according to a Decatur police release. The victim was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital Parkway Campus by private vehicle for treatment.

At about 6:25 a.m., officers with the Decatur Police Department responded to the Hard Dock Marina, located at 3755 U.S. 31 N., in reference to a missing person. A group reported their friend had jumped off a boat and didn't resurface, according to a release from Decatur police.
