1 INTRODUCTION Polysomnography (PSG) is the gold-standard for measuring sleep and for detecting underlying sleep disruptors such as obstructive sleep apnea, as it can accurately characterize sleep using electroencephalography (EEG). However, PSG is limited by the number of nights that are usually evaluated (typically 1 night), its significant financial costs, and its intrusiveness.
