EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State junior pitcher Joseph Dzierwa, who was just named the Big Ten pitcher of the week, made a commitment early this season to donate a portion of his name, image, and likeness income to a young boy he befriended during the off-season. That boy has been stricken with a form of leukemia, and Dzierwa is helping his fight by making a donation for every strikeout he records to help Luca Wright from Lapeer in his recovery.
