Nissan was an early adopter of mass-market EVs, unveiling its first Leaf hatchback more than a decade and a half ago. Over two generations, the Leaf served as the best-selling battery EV of all time until 2020, when it was surpassed by the Tesla Model 3. Robert Kubica had a secret back in 2011. As the Polish racing driver revealed in 2018, he had signed a pre-contract with Scuderia Ferrari for the 2012 season, a deal that would have placed him in position to potentially fight Sebastian Vettel for championships in an era where Ferrari consistently built competitive racing cars. But the deal fell apart when he was injured in a 2011 rallying crash, one that sidelined him from competing in any form of racing for years.

Robert Kubica's career has included a promising early stint in Formula 1, one long recovery from a harrowing rally crash, and another triumphant return to F1. The three AF Corse-run Ferraris flexed their muscles early, charging up to a 1-2-3 running order in the evening.

Hard to overstate how bad this would suck if it were true but I understand that pretending you are using AI for something is important for tricking wealthy idiots into investing in your property right now

.@NASCAR is evaluating how it can use generative AI for competition matters such as asking a model how playoff format changes could impact the sport, per COO Steve O'Donnell. 🗨: "How that applies to our formats of the future, I think AI can play a really big role in that." https://t.co/wbNituf4tm
