RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) - The village of Ruidoso is entering recovery mode as residents return to survey the damage and businesses try to get back up and running. The mayor gave an update on how the village is moving forward. "This is the first time I've ever had to evacuate in my life. It was very surreal for us," said Ronnie Starr, owner of the Cedar Creek MarketStarr was one of the lucky ones, his business in Cedar Creek was still standing when he came back.

Those immigration representatives say the proposal would do more harm than good. The proposal has immigration support groups on edge, saying it will damage Albuquerque’s standing as an immigrant-friendly city.

A daycare center was shut down for allowing that very thing to happen. A four-year-old child made a break across San Mateo, running through traffic. But where did that child come from? ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - A man who wasn't even on authorities' radar was arrested after leading Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office deputies on a chase after failing to stop for a missing license plate. According to BCSO, it took place on April 9 as auto theft deputies were on patrol near Central. Deputies noticed a gold Cadillac without a plate and attempted a stop. The car sped off near 90 th and Sunset Gardens.
