KOB is a television station affiliated with NBC, operating on virtual channel 4 and UHF digital channel 26. It is licensed to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and also serves the state capital, Santa Fe. The station is part of Hubbard Broadcasting, which is headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota. While KOB and its sister cable channel, Reelz, are both based in Albuquerque, they run separate operations and facilities. KOB's studios can be found on Broadcast Plaza, just west of downtown Albuquerque, and its transmitter is situated on Sandia Crest, to the east of the city.

    LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Las Cruces police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy died in a shooting they believe stemmed from a road rage incident. The shooting happened Monday night, around 9 p.m., near the intersection of Solano Drive and Spruce Avenue. Police responded to a shots-fired call in the area and found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
