    A man, Freedom Akabuchi, has bagged a six-month jail term for cutting a wire mesh pole at Peace Park Ojota, in Lagos. According to the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, Akabuchi was arrested by officials of the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency on Wednesday and arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court in Bolade Oshodi, where he was convicted and sentenced to six months in prison.
