    Following his extradition from Doha in Qatar by the Nigerian government, murder suspect, Benjamin Best Nnayereugo a.k.a. Killaboi has been handed over to the Lagos State Police Command for prosecution. Killaboi fled to the Middle East country in 2023 after allegedly killing his lover, Augusta Oseodion Onuwabhagbe, 21, at his 24A Abiola Apooyi Street, Oral Estate, Ajah on July 13.

    Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered disciplinary measures against officers seen in a viral video receiving cash from a Chinese man, his wife and child. Egbetokun warned against the abuse. In a statement, the Force Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Assistant Commissioner of Police, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said they had taken note of the video and  condemned the conduct of the police officers, adding that it was unethical.

    Inspector-General of Police  (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun  has ordered the Provost of 1 Police Mobile Force (MOPOL) in Kaduna and a team of riot policemen  to appear  at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in AbujaThe summon followed a viral video showing members of the team receiving cash  from a Chinese man, his wife and their child. In the video, members of a Police Mobile Force (PMF) squad were standing in three lines as a Chinese national counted five N1,000 notes and handed to each officer.

    The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in connection with the killing in Bokkos, Plateau State. The suspects, he said, are giving the police information on the ongoing investigation. He vowed that the Nigeria Police Force is diligently working to uncover the motives behind these attacks, identify and apprehend other suspects involved in the killings.
