A truck driver suffered minor injuries on Thursday after the truck’s tree-trimming boom got tangled in a power line and flipped the vehicle over on its side off Hwy. 603 near the entrance to Choctaw Plaza in Waveland. “Waveland officers responded to the area of Hwy. 603 in the area of Walgreens regarding a large vehicle rolled over,” Police Chief Michael Prendergast said in a press release.
