High School Athletic Association State Baseball Championship. With the score tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, ER's JD Toney grounded into an unassisted double play that allowed the winning run to score as the Cavs outlasted South Lenoir 4-3 in Friday's opening game of the 2A state championship series at Burlington Athletic Stadium.
