BURLINGTON — A state baseball championship? That's something that players and coaches will remember for the rest of their lives. Back-to-back state championships? Now, you're talking about a rarefied, historic-level accomplishment. But three titles in a row? Well, that's the sole domain of the TC Roberson Rams after they became the state's first highest-classification team to three-peat following a Class 4-A State Finals sweep over Laney on Saturday at the Burlington Athletic Stadium.
