The Chargers are currently No. 6 in the AFC, but they could jump to the No. 5 spot, where they would meet the No. 4 Houston Texans (9-7), as opposed to potentially facing the Buffalo Bills or the Baltimore Ravens.

Nix and the Denver Broncos let another opportunity to earn a playoff berth slip away after their 30-24 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. For the second consecutive week, the Broncos (9-7) didn’t take advantage of the chance to earn their first playoff berth in nearly a decade. The Broncos will have another chance to earn a postseason berth when they host Kansas City next weekend.
