“Scenes From an Italian Restaurant” is my favorite Billy Joel song. Simple, complex and layered, it tells a couple of stories with ease. Most importantly, it's heartfelt, from Joel's opening tickle of the piano's keys to his earnest vocals to his saxman's closing salvo. It makes a lot of sense, that the filmmakers behind the Netflix film “Nonnas” uses the '70s classic at a memorable moment in the film. It begins streaming Friday. The song and movie share passion, that earnestness.

Akron RubberDucks fans who can’t make it to Canal Park will be able to find 15 of the team’s games over-the-air and on assorted pay-television systems beginning this weekend on the Rock Entertainment Sports Network. All games will carry a simulcast of the NewsRadio 640 (WHLO) audio play-by-play by RubberDucks broadcasters Jim Clark and Marco LaNave.
