Newcomer Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements, on May 14 posted Xandria Mancuso's obituary on its website. The 9-year-old was a fourth grader at West Main Elementary School in Ravenna.

    The day that may be the most NFL of all days on the NFL calendar has arrived. It's officially schedule release day. That's right, the day teams like the Browns officially learn the order of the opponents they'll play. Those opponents, mind you, have been known since at least January, and some even longer than that. Still, it's fun to find out if a trip to Chicago is going to happen when it's at its coldest, or if Miami is once again going to come to Cleveland in late December.

    It's not Christmas, but you will know who's playing on that day. Same with Thanksgiving. The NFL will release the full 2025 schedule for the Browns, as well as the other 31 teams, on Wednesday, May 14. The schedule will drop at 8 p.m., with shows on both ESPN2 and the NFL Network. The Browns find out the opponent and date for their game at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday morning. The rest will have to wait until the next day.

    An Akron woman who became a motivational speaker and national advocate for plane crash victims and their families after surviving a plane crash in 1992 has died. Kendra St. Charles died died May 6 at age 73 due to complications from a stroke, according to her obituary. St. Charles was born in Akron on March 24, 1952, to Bob and Mary Sweeney (nee Yanko), according to her obituary. Her grandparents, Nick and Mabel Yanko, owned Yanko’s Restaurant in Highland Square in the 50s and 60s.
