Knicks guard Josh Hart was bloodied after an errant elbow in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Near the end of the first quarter, Hart was rising for a layup when he was on the receiving end of an elbow from Celtics center Luke Kornet. It did not take long for him to make those uncharacteristic showings a distant memory in Game 5. Jokic came out of the gates firing, scoring nine points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field in the first quarter.

Indiana entered the 2025 NBA Playoffs as the East's No. 4 seed, and few viewed them as a team capable of making it out of the second round. In a wild turn of events, the Pacers are heading to the Eastern Conference Finals after eliminating the No. 1 seed Cavaliers in five games. Wild as the series was, Indiana's closeout win was a wild ride in itself.
