    For the second year in a row, the New Mexico Ice Wolves hosted a school day matinee game for students across Albuquerque.     Jan. 20—While most students were off school Monday, an Albuquerque Sign Language Academy group was working hard, raking leaves and cleaning Lorraine Cordova's backyard. This event is part of an annual school tradition, where students participate in a community service activity in honor of Martin Luther King Day. Monday's event provided students involved in the school's Community Beautification Program with an opportunity to learn key life and career skills related to landscaping.

    Jan. 15—To help those in Los Angeles affected by the ongoing wildfires, Cumulus Media Albuquerque hosted a donation drive Wednesday collecting clothing, toiletries, energy drinks, water and other goods to send to the victims. Community members lined their cars outside of Graphic Connection in Northeast Albuquerque to drop off bag upon bag of donations, each loaded onto a nearby U-Haul trailer truck.
