So with the Southeast Produce Council’s upcoming Southern Innovations event taking place there, it’s no secret that attendees can expect country music to play a big role. "I am loving the show. The energy here today is fabulous," said Bonnie Lundblad of Sunny Valley International. "I don't know if it's the sunshine here in Tampa, but everyone is so energetic, trying to make sure that they get to see everybody. I've seen a lot of retailers, a lot of wholesalers, a lot of everybody within our industry. I don't know why, but for some reason, I feel like they are just more inquisitive and interactive with everyone at this show.

The Southeast Produce Council delivered once again as its Southern Exposure show received rave reviews. Record numbers poured onto the expo floor at the Tampa Convention Center, which ran a little longer than previous years. At the keynote address, prior to the opening of the expo, Hall of Fame National Football League quarterback Kurt Warner discussed his journey from stocking grocery store shelves to winning the Super Bowl.

The Southeast Produce Council will celebrate "the unseen heroes" of the fresh produce industry and beyond at its flagship conference and trade show in early March. As the video on the SEPC website proclaims: "Some heroes wear camouflage. But within our industry, they wear coveralls, workboots, gloves, aprons, hairnets, shiftcoats, safety glasses and wide-brimmed hats. At Southern Exposure, our produce industry heroes will be in plain sight.
