THROGGS NECK, Bronx (PIX11) — Attorney General Letitia James held a public hearing in Throggs Neck in light of Preston High School’s announcement in February to close down at the end of the school year. Dozens of people showed up to address the emotional and academic impact the impending closing of the all-girls catholic Preston High School has had. “I’m being split up, tortured, and I won’t get to graduate with my friends,” said Eliana Mayi, an 11th grader.

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — Former Gov. Cuomo, who is currently running for New York City mayor, scored another important endorsement. This time by Congressman Greg Meeks, who in the past had supported another current mayoral candidate, City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams. Congressman Meeks welcomed the former governor, stating that he was the best person to be the next mayor of New York City and the only candidate to lead the city.
