The Chevron station on the corner of Highland Avenue has sold its land for $4.3 million, according to a recent report by the Birmingham Business Journal. Read on for details. The Chevron, known as Tom and Jerry’s, was opened by Tommy Numnum and Jerry Chambers in 1981. After Chambers retired, the gas station was run by Numnum and his son, who was the seller in the recent deal.
