    The City of Pelham officially opened a state-of-the art NHL Street Hockey Court this week. As reported by Bham Now in April, the city, which is home to the Birmingham Bulls and University of Alabama Hockey teams, began building the court after it established a very popular NHL Street Hockey league in the summer of 2024.     The newly renovated Willie Mays Parks was unveiled last week in Fairfield. A joint effort between Major League Baseball and the Fairfield community, a new turf baseball diamond and scoreboard was installed along with freshly painted dugouts and stands.
