Plymouth Parkway travelled the lengthy distance to step 4 Isthmian League South East Division side Sittingbourne in the 3rd round qualifying of the FA Cup knowing a win would create club history by reaching the 4th round qualifying for the very first time - which they did with a 3-0 win. One change was made from Tuesday night’s defeat at Poole Town with Mitch Beardmore returning in place of the unavailable Ryan Brett.

Plymouth Parkway started their third season in the Southern League Premier Division South with a 3-1 defeat under the new management team of Chris McPhee and Lee Peacock. With nine of last season’s squad retained, there were also nine new faces in Parkway’s matchday squad. Due to the visitors’ late arrival with their coach being delayed in traffic, kick off was delayed by 15 minutes.
