Residents of Glastonbury town are bracing themselves for the annual confusion that leads some festival-goers to mistakenly arrive in their quaint locale. The town finds humour in the sight of bewildered music fans "laden with tents, boots and rucksacks" turning up each year. Despite the world-famous Glastonbury Festival drawing 210,000 visitors annually, a handful still end up in the town of Glastonbury rather than the actual festival site in Pilton, situated nine miles east.

Tributes have been paid to much-loved family members and those who have tragically had their lives cut short. In total 37 death notices were placed into the funeral notices section of SomersetLive’s sister print titles, for those people who either lived in the county or had links to it and have died recently.
