(KNSI) – Most of Minnesota, including Benton, Sherburne, and Stearns Counties, will again be covered by a red flag warning on Monday. The National Weather Service has issued the alert from noon to 9:00 p.m. It warns that the combination of south to southwest winds at 15 mph sustained, and gusting as high as 30, plus warm temperatures and humidity at just 15 percent, will cause any fires that develop to spread rapidly. The office stresses that outdoor burning is not recommended.
