With the Eagles season over, calls for Nick Sirianni to be fired have begun. And it is hard to argue with. After starting 10-1, the Eagles lost 6 of their last 7, including an embarrassing final performance in the playoffs. The Bucs are not a very good team. They only made the playoffs because of how bad the NFC South is. But even they outplayed the Eagles in every aspect of the game. Their offense moved the ball on the Eagles all game long.

Another brutal loss for the Nationals. Back to back setbacks at the hands of a bad Marlins team. Not sending Young from third base on what could’ve been a game tying sacrifice fly was just outrageous. Bell with a bad read on base before that. Miami desperately tried to give them

Brad Lord is a gigantic win for the Nats scouting/ development departments. Drafted in the 18th Rd out of South Florida 3 years ago and he’s already a helpful MLB arm. Been good out of the pen; you can make case he deserves a rotation spot over Williams or Parker at this point.

Riley Adams is hitless over his last 27 at-bats. He’s 5-for-51 on the season. The Nats have the lowest WAR from the catching spot in baseball.
