WHAT WE ARE TRACKING: Periods of showers and some thunderstorms continue through Friday morning, with dry conditions through the weekend. NEXT 24 HRS: A line of showers or steady light rain will persist between I-90 and I-94 during the morning commute, with scattered showers south of I-90. This activity will eventually diminish before noon. Although some showers are possible during the afternoon, especially west of the river, most areas will remain dry and cloudy until at least 4 pm.

WHAT WE ARE TRACKING: Periods of showers and some thunderstorms continue through Friday morning, along with mild conditions for the the end of April. NEXT 24 HRS: Skies are mostly clear or will become clear late this afternoon or evening, with temperatures falling into the upper 40s to mid-50s by 10 pm. Cloud cover increases after midnight as a weak cold front shifts east into central MN, and a stationary front lifts north to the WI/IL border.

With most of the area behind the frontal boundary, temperatures will climb well into the 60s with some locations south of I-90 in the low 70s.

NEXT 24 HOURS: Skies will gradually becoming mostly clear this evening with temperatures falling back to the low to middle 40s by 10 pm. Cloud cover increases after midnight as a system approaches from the west. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorm will develop along the warm front associated with system west of the river before the morning commute.
