It’s only one of the longest-lasting traditions in sports, and something that separates it from every other professional athletic endeavor in the world. Less than 24 hours after Rory McIlroy completed one of the most impressive feats in golf, NFL great J.J. Watt took on Augusta National with the same Sunday pins. Watt has been prepping for this moment for a month now, but he didn’t help matters after allegedly “hammering” domestic beers at the 16th green with Shane Gillis over the weekend. Watt predicted that he couldn’t imagine shooting under 150, which is a pro move. Lower those expectations so that when you go low, you feel like a god.
