With ComicsPro this week, there’s been no shortage of exciting announcements from publishers, especially Marvel. To whit, courtesy of a ComicBook.com exclusive, Marvel announced Death of the Silver Surfer, a five-issue limited series by writer Greg Pak and artist Sumit Kumar. Pak has made it no secret over the years how much he adores the character. In fact, back in 2011 a penned a Silver Surfer miniseries.

Marvel Comics has announced a new one-shot, Amadeus Cho 20th Anniversary Special, set for May 7th release. The comic will reunite the character’s acclaimed co-creators, writer Greg Pak and artist Takeshi Miyazawa, and also feature art by rising stars Creees Lee and Jethro Morales. “I’m a little stunned that Amadeus Cho has been around 20 years now and absolutely thrilled that we’re celebrating with this big one-shot,” Pak shared.
