A partnership involving a supporters' group and club investors could offer new hope for financially-stricken King's Lynn Town. The Blue and Gold Supporters Trust has written to its members to vote on a proposed link-up with Turn Sports Investments (TSI), which secured the club's survival with a large six-figure investment early last year. It comes a few days after chairman Stephen Cleeve revealed in his programme notes that the club needs another £50,000 to see the club through to the summer.

King's Lynn were beaten by 24 points for the second time in 72 hours on another frustrating night in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership at Sheffield. Just as they did at Belle Vue on Monday, the PSH Environmental Stars lost 57-33 on their travels as they failed to match the home side. After conceding a 4-2 in the opener, Chris Harris and Ashton Boughen, who produced a good ride to pass Danyon Hume for third, got things back on level terms.

King's Lynn Town manager Adam Lakeland has every sympathy for relegated Farsley Celtic as he takes his side to his former club on Saturday. Lynn's boss spent four-and-a-half years in charge of Farsley and guided the club to promotion to the National League North back in 2018/19. He still holds fond memories of his time at the West Yorkshire Club and knows there is no room for complacency from his players as they try to force their way back into the play-off places.

Downham Town have been given the green light for promotion should they win the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division or go up to the next level through the play-offs. The Memorial Field passed a Step 5 ground grading this week following a visit from Football Association officials, but further work is required if the club is to pass a Step 4 grading next March. It comes as a major boost for the club, who are embroiled in a three-horse race with Brantham Athletic and Fakenham Town for the league title.

Chris Harris is celebrating an individual league riders’ title for the first time in his long and distinguished career. Racing in the colours of his Championship club Glasgow, Harris won the big showdown of all the top contenders in the second tier at Scunthorpe last Sunday. The King’s Lynn newcomer is a veteran of the event, which no longer takes place at Premiership level but in which he competed for many years, whilst in the Championship this was his seventh attempt at the silverware.
