LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – More than 1,400 braved the heat and humidity to run the 48th annual Firecracker Fast 5K race in Little Rock Thursday. The 3.1-mile race started in the Heights neighborhood and finished at the War Memorial Stadium. The race is known for its fast, downhill course which attracts runners from all over the country.
