    MADISON – A team of students from Madison and Huntsville have been invited to a national robotics competition this summer and are asking for help in raising funds necessary to make the trip. The 6-Bit Drill Sergeants Robotics Team competed in the FIRST Technology Challenge, Alabama State Championship recently at New Century Technology High School in Huntsville. They have now been invited to a premiere competition in Lexington, Ky. at the Kentucky Horse Park in June.

    MADISON – Students interested in theatre components, such as lighting, sound, singing or vocal delivery, can attend the 2025 Summer Spotlight Theatre Camp. Students who will enter second through ninth grade in the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to attend. The camp on May 27-30 will run from 9 a.m. to noon on-campus, primarily in the auditorium, at James Clemens, 11306 County Line Road. Camp fee is $75 per student.

Crouch will conduct the session on April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. The bookstore’s address is 14 Main St., Suite B in Madison. “Middletide” has been well received and was a recent Barnes & Noble Monthly Pick. Crouch also achieved notoriety as a “USA TODAY” Bestselling author.
