    May 16-The iconic Tahoe locale of Emerald Bay is such a headache with summer traffic and crowding that authorities are poised to try new tactics to manage visitors this season. Tucked in the lake's southwest corner, the remote bay is a bucket-list destination for millions of Tahoe tourists. Most visitors hang out at a scenic overlook and snap a quick picture, or hike down to Tahoe's shoreline, or venture up to Eagle Falls or further into Desolation Wilderness. The problem is parking.
