Copper Country Associated Artists moved from the 200 block of Fifth Street in downtown Calumet to 177 Fifth St.The group formed in the early 1960s. There are about 45 members in the CCAA today. The Great Lakes Line 5 Tunnel Project is a proposed $800 million tunnel. It aims to safeguard a pipeline carrying crude oil and natural gas liquids. “We really feel it’s kind of the next evolution of safe transportation here in the Straits of Mackinac,” said Enbridge Community Engagement Manager Paul Meneghini.
