    MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Pieces of glue, drywall and molding lie on the gallery floor at the Bonifas Arts Center. It’s part of the effort to get the center ready to reopen after last month’s fire. As TV6 previously reported, a lightning strike caused the fire. It devastated the theater. The resulting smoke damaged the entire building. The art galleries first underwent extensive cleaning. Now, other work is being done.

    FLORENCE COUNTY, Wis. (WLUC) - For the first time in almost a decade, golfers are again teeing off at the Spread Eagle Golf Course. The course officially reopened last weekend after months of cleanup. Operations Manager Margo Erickson says community members played a large role in bringing the course up to speed. “Honestly, I would say the biggest challenges were being able to find and have enough manpower to be able to pick up all the sticks and debris,” Erickson said.
