Sasha Skochilenko was detained on April 11, 2022 in St. Petersburg for replacing price tags in a Perekrestok supermarket for anti-war stickers. These stickers had information on the actions of the Russian military in Mariupol and other facts about the war in Ukraine — Russian authorities consider this information “knowingly false.” A shop-goer’s accusation led to a criminal case being filed against Sasha. Sasha Skochilenko is an artist and musician from St. Petersburg.
