We are excited to announce that Junho Lee is joining the Graphics desk as a graphics editor focused on 3-D modeling and visualization. Junho is a trained architect joining us from Rockwell Group, an architecture and design firm, where he analyzed data to help people understand how spaces are utilized. Previously, he worked as a design technology specialist at the architecture company Gensler, where he created 3-D visualizations and built tools for spatial simulations.

We are thrilled to announce that Anjali Singhvi has been promoted to senior staff editor for spatial investigations. A trained architect, she came to The Times after earning a master’s degree in urban planning at Columbia University. After joining graphics, she quickly became a trailblazer in spatial investigations. In one of her first projects in 2016, she created a 3D reconstruction of the police killing of Keith Scott, based on four streams of police and bystander video.

We are excited to announce that Bora Erden is joining the Graphics department as a graphics editor focused on utilizing new technologies, including machine learning, artificial intelligence and computer vision to do advanced mapping, 3-D modeling and programmatic image analysis for visualizations in breaking news and investigative projects. Bora joins us from SITU, an architecture group that specializes in investigative reconstruction.
