    WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Belle Plaine Police Chief posted to Facebook Saturday warning parents to check play areas before allowing children to play after finding scissors and razor blade pieces in the sand. Chief Bill Berry said a citizen found pieces of a broken single edge razor blade and kitchen shears at the smaller kids park at Watson Park. Chief Berry said the items were found in the sand at the end of a slide with the handles of the shears buried in the sand with the blades facing upwards.
