Las armas han callado en Gaza, por ahora. Después de quince meses, un acuerdo de alto el fuego ha puesto fin a la implacable matanza genocida de decenas de miles de palestinos y a la destrucción casi total del enclave palestino por parte del Estado de Israel. Lo primero que hay que señalar es lo siguiente: los palestinos no se doblegaron ni se rindieron incluso cuando estaban allí, prácticamente indefensos, bajo el incesante ataque de una de las peores máquinas militares del mundo.

El régimen sirio se ha derrumbado. Bashar al-Assad ha huido del país. Su ejército se ha desarmado y su gobierno ha capitulado. Las cárceles han sido invadidas y miles de personas han sido liberadas. Mientras tanto, miles de sirios se han echado a la calle para celebrarlo. El vacío de poder lo están llenando milicias locales y señores de la guerra que se han apoderado de distintas localidades por todo el país.
