QUINCY (WGEM) - Saturday featured two local teams trying to keep their postseasons alive in their respective sports. A ticket to state was on the line as Quincy Notre Dame girls soccer took on Columbia. The Lady Raiders put up a fight on the pitch, but the Eagles dominate offensive performance controlled the game. In the end, QND fell 6-1 to wrap up their season. “Just very proud of the seniors and the team,” said QND girl’s head soccer coach Mark Thomas.
