Very few know about Wyoming’s biggest export and how it’s produced. And yet, there’s a mini-underground world below the desert of Green River. Snow has been melting at rapid rates throughout the region, including in the Rocky Mountains, and that could mean increased fire danger and water supply issues. Earlier this year, mountains in Northern Colorado had a lot of snow, even above average at some ski resorts. It’s partnering with private landowners to let people cross through their properties — for free — to access these public acres. “These are areas where you might be 25 miles away from the next closest access point if there is one,” said Sam Seeton, CEO and co-founder of Infinite Outdoors.
