The Loudoun County Circuit Court has appointed Stafford Commonwealth’s Attorney Eric Olsen as a special prosecutor in the recall petition for Purcellville’s mayor, vice mayor and two councilmembers. The petition was submitted April 28 by town resident Brian Morgan, who has been leading the effort to have Mayor Christopher Bertaut, Vice Mayor Ben Nett, and councilmembers Carol Luke and Susan Khalil removed from office.

The third annual Cloud Run and Community Festival hosted by the 7x24 Exchange DC Chapter returned to Data Center Alley Saturday bringing together more than 500 racers. The event included a 4.99999K race, a 1-mile fun run and a post-race fest that included interactive educational zones, local vendors, food and beverage trucks, live entertainment, and charitable partners including the Dulles South Soup Kitchen and NOVA Foundation.
