Summer, is that you? My diary has already started to fill up with events, and I’ve been tracking down the outfits to match each occasion. My first-ever Chelsea Flower Show called for a linen suit—I somehow couldn’t bring myself to wear a floral dress, simply because I’m belligerent and like to buck the norm! The team hosted a fabulous dinner at Mimi Meifair to launch our debut Beauty Issue, and it called for a “wow” gown (more on that below).

This month, spring outfits finally feel within reach, and right now, I’m gearing up for my big wardrobe switcharoo, where I remove all of the wintry pieces that can’t work in the warmer months, pop them into storage and get everything out that’s summer-facing. It’s one of my favourite fashion moments of the year; I get weirdly excited about the cleansing process of unpacking items I haven’t looked at for six months or more.

Hosted in the chic confines of The Pem—an under-the-radar restaurant nestled in Westminster—we connected IRL with some of the most interesting names in the London style circuit over Wye Valley asparagus tartlets, seared monkfish and an incredible chocolate and hazelnut dessert.
