Detectives with the Clarksville Police Department have named a suspect in a stabbing on McCormick Lane on Thursday that sent a person to the hospital. As previously reported, a female victim called 911 Thursday morning to report that she had been stabbed in an apartment in the 2200 block of McCormick Lane at approximately 2:20 a.m. The victim was rushed to Tennova Healthcare for treatment and is currently in stable condition.

Measles has officially been ruled out following investigation into a possible case in Hopkins County. That’s according to Hopkins County Health Department and Public Health Director Denise Beach, who states the possible case of measles that sparked investigation and mitigation efforts earlier in the week has been determined to not be measles, following results from laboratory testing.
