This secures the sweep in Detroit’s first homestand of the season, and drops the South Siders record to 2-7, having lost five straight after a 2-2 start. Two White Sox runs came in the top of the first inning off of Jackson Jobe. Mike Tauchman started the game off with a single, and Luis Robert Jr. walked to put runners on first and second.

The team has lost two in a row to Detroit and four consecutive games total, and looks to get out of their offensive and pitching slump.
